The short version
Arrow Escape is a single-player puzzle game that works fully offline. You do not need an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, location or contacts.
The game shows a full-screen ad after every fifth game you play. You can also choose to watch a rewarded video ad for an extra life or hint, and to buy extras such as refilled lives and removing ads. The game contains no third-party analytics.
Who we are
Arrow Escape is published by Alchemedia Group. For anything in this policy, contact duncan@alchemedia-group.com.
What stays on your device
The game stores your progress (stars earned per level, your best chain and which daily puzzles you have finished), your lives and hints, which purchases you own, and your settings (sound, haptics, language and notification choice) in the app’s private storage on your device.
This information is not sent to us or to anyone else. Clearing the app’s data or uninstalling the app deletes it.
Google Play Games and Game Center
On Android the game can connect to Google Play Games Services, and on iPhone and iPad to Apple Game Center. This is optional and only happens when you sign in or your device signs you in automatically.
When connected, the game reads your public player name to show you are signed in, and sends the achievements you unlock to Google or Apple. Google and Apple process that information under their own privacy policies, and you manage it in your device’s Play Games or Game Center settings.
If you do not use Google Play Games or Game Center, the game does not contact them.
Advertising
The game shows a full-screen ad after every fifth game you finish, and an ad when you choose to watch one to earn a reward. Ads are provided by Google AdMob. To show an ad, the ad network may collect your device’s advertising identifier, IP address and basic device information, and may use it to choose the ad, measure it and prevent fraud, under its own privacy policy. Where the law requires it, the game shows Google’s consent message first, and you can change your choice later in Settings under Ad privacy choices. On iPhone it also asks, once, whether the game may use your advertising identifier.
If you buy Remove ads, the game stops showing ads between games and gives you rewards without showing an ad.
Purchases
Purchases are processed by Apple or Google. We never see or store your card or payment details. The game only learns that a purchase went through, so that it can give you what you bought, and keeps a record of it on your device. You can restore purchases from Settings on a new device.
Notifications
If you allow it, the game schedules one notification on your device to tell you when your lives are full. It is created and delivered by your device, not by a server, and you can turn it off in Settings or in your device’s notification settings.
Permissions
The game asks for no special permissions apart from permission to show the optional lives notification. It uses your device’s vibration motor for haptic feedback (you can switch this off in Settings) and does not need an internet connection to play; the internet is only used for ads, purchases and Google Play Games or Game Center.
Children
Arrow Escape is for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. The game itself does not ask for or collect personal information from anyone, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The ads shown come from Google AdMob (see Advertising above). If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has been shown content you are unhappy with, contact us and we will help.
Your choices and rights
Because the game keeps your data on your device and we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to export or delete on your behalf. You can reset everything by clearing the app’s data. For data held by Google, Apple or the ad network, use their privacy tools.
If you are in the EU, the UK or another region with data protection rights, you can still contact us with any question about this policy.
Changes to this policy
If a future version changes how your information is used, for example by adding analytics, we will update this policy and show the new version in the app before the change goes live. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
