NFC Max
Read, write and automate NFC tags. Modern, fast, no ads.

Android only. Needs a phone with NFC.
Read
Tap a tag and see what is on it: type, memory used, UID, technology and every record, decoded and easy to read. Send anything straight to the writer to edit.
Write
Build a message from 17 record types: text, link, phone, email, SMS, Wi-Fi, location, contact, address, social profile, Bluetooth, app launch, custom URI, custom data, smart poster and more.
- Pick a contact or an installed app with one button
- “My location” fills in coordinates for you
- Detect tag checks the tag type and size so your message always fits
- Write the same data to several tags in a row
- Protect a tag with a password or make it read-only
Tasks
Write a tag that changes your phone when you tap it: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, silent mode, Do Not Disturb, torch, brightness, open an app or link, and more. Chain several tasks on one tag with a wait between steps.
Tools

Works with NDEF tags such as NTAG213, NTAG215 and NTAG216, and other NFC Forum tags. Tags can be read with NFC Max even when they cannot be written (for example MIFARE Classic cards show their details but hold no NDEF data). Passwords and locking apply to NTAG tags.
Does it work on iPhone?
No. NFC Max is Android only.
Do I need an account?
No.
Does it need an internet connection?
No. Reading, writing and tasks all work offline. The only online part is buying Pro through Google Play.
Why does a task ask for a permission?
Some phone settings (Do Not Disturb, brightness) are protected by Android. NFC Max takes you straight to the right settings screen so you can turn it on.
What does "read-only" do?
It permanently locks a tag so it can never be changed. It cannot be undone, so NFC Max asks you to confirm.
I bought Pro on another phone.
